When making edits to a navigation file, it is recommended that you keep backup copies of previous versions. When you Write your changes, a backup of the loaded navigation file is saved automatically for you. But you also may have previous versions that you have created or you may receive an update from another waypointer. The tool has the ability to compare these versions and to list a summary of the differences. Click on the Utility->Compare Navigation Files menu item to start your comparison. Choose the two navigation files and then click on the "Compare" button.
The files are named "Left" and "Right" for easy recognition in the summary of what is different. Differences between Nodes, Actions, and Routes will be displayed in summary form.
